Biography

Shahin A. Shayan is Chairman of the Board of Hoda International Financial Engineering Company, a private Investment Banking / Corporate Finance Advisory operation. The company actively advises on financing, restructuring, creating enterprise risk management frameworks, valuation and privatization issues related to the Middle Eastern companies. As Chairman, Shahin is responsible for client relationships, business development and making sure that all operations are conducted based on the approved plans. He has extensive experience managing investments and running companies in volatile and uncertain environments, such as Iran—the challenge he finds appealing. Shahin has plans to start an international conglomerate between Iran and the US businesses when sanctions have been lifted. The businesses will be on a synergistic and win/win basis for the two countries. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB)/Islamic Research & Training Institute (IRTI) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia and Vice Chairman of the Board of Trustees of several charitable institutes helping orphans in Iran.
