Ana De Palomo is the owner and founder of an exciting new startup venture in the product development sector, focused on closing the gaps between manufacturers and retailers in the fashion and clothing industry. With over 20 years of experience in supply chain and international retail commerce, she is a highly seasoned consultant and forecaster, who is driven to lessen the time needed for new trends to go from production to store, to set retailers up for success and meet the demands of an ever-evolving fashion and apparel market.
With a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of El Salvador, Ana launched her career as Latin American markets were beginning their rapid development and take a leading place on the international stage. Prior to founding her own company, she spent 15 years at Siman, first as a buyer, and eventually rising through the ranks to become Product Development Manager. She was recently hired as the divisional manager by one of the most prestigious companies in the shoe industry of Central America, ADOC. With the objective of fulfilling gaps between the target market and the manufacturer, and to highlight the talent and efficiency of the Salvadorian company. Ana is excited to work along with the company in order to achieve these objectives, while satisfying the company’s mission and vision too.
Ana credits her success to a passion for what she does and the desire to help Central America-based companies to improve business practices and become more competitive in the global economy. Outside of her professional endeavors, she volunteers for Vital Voices El Salvador Mentoring and empowering entrepreneur women and encourage them to start their own businesses, a non-profit Catholic organization to help older homes and enjoys dancing, cooking and reading. She speaks fluent English and Spanish.
