Angela Smith graduated from the Kutztown University in Pennsylvania in 1998 with a Bachelor’s in Education. Angela then went on to continue her education at the University of South Florida where she graduated with a Master’s in Library Information and Science in 2007. Angela is presently an Educator with the Ministry of Education in the Bahamas, and has spent much of her time and efforts fighting for better resources in education for the youth of the Bahamas. She is a strong advocate for library automation in all schools and islands which will allows students and library patron better access to books and information.
Angela is a certified IAAF Level 1 Track and Field Official, and in her spare time she enjoys traveling reading and sports. Angela also enjoys playing the saxophone and she is also a part of a marching band and concert band. A former Lieutenant in the 4th Nassau Company of Boys’ Brigade and presently a sponsor for Girls Ministry, Angela enjoys working with young people to become productive adults.
Angela presently resides in Nassau, The Bahamas.
