Apostolos A. Balanis, DBA is a freelance Business Trainer and Consultant specializing in the medical devices industry. With over 25 years of professional experience, he is a highly seasoned contractor across Eastern and Southeastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In recent years, he has also partnered with herbal products labs and assists medical companies with their exporting needs.

After earning a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Deree College of the American College of Greece, Apostolos went on to complete a Master of Business Administration from RKC Zurich in Switzerland. In 2006, he completed his doctorate in Business Administration, focusing his dissertation on Indirect Distribution Channels in the Medical Devices Industry.

In addition to his freelance consulting and training, Apostolos has nearly a decade of experience teaching and lecturing at the collegiate level and leading business seminars. Today, he is semi-retired, but remains passionate about his field and enjoys mentoring up and coming colleagues in the industry.

Apostolos credits his success to hard work, a strong education, knowledge in his field, and determination. He speaks fluent English and Greek.
