Elie Yazbeck is an acclaimed Attorney and Partner at Haya Rashed Al Khalifa Attorneys at Law & Legal Consultants. With over 16 years of experience in the legal field, Elie specializes in investment law, mergers and acquisitions, corporate & commercial law, construction law, banking & finance law, contract law, and agency and distributorships.

After earning a Law and Litigation Bachelor’s degree with honors from Sagesse University School of Law in Beirut, Elie went on to complete his Master of Law in Business and Corporate Law from the University of San Diego. He holds an Islamic Finance Qualification from the Securities and Investment Institute in the United Kingdom, and is an admitted solicitor in the Beirut Bar Association.

With a wealth of experience and practical know-how, Elie is a member of the Brussels group the International Association of Young Lawyers, the Bahrain Economic Development Board, and is a founder and member of the Committee of Sports Activities within the Beirut Bar Association. He has been invited to share his expertise at seminars, including in Chicago, where he attended a seminar on cross-border commercial lending transactions, international law and money laundering crimes.

Prior to joining Haya Rashed Al Khalifa Attorneys at Law & Legal Consultants, Elie launched his career at the Rizk Law Office in Lebanon, where he gained experience in commercial, administrative and civil law. He also served as Lawyer and Legal Counsel with E. Kanaan and Co. Law Firm, a Lebanese commercial law firm associated with law firms in Europe and the GCC. 

A resident of Manama, Bahrain, Elie speaks fluent English, Arabic and French. Outside his professional endeavors, he enjoys traveling, sports and reading.
