Gareth received a Bachelor of Science degree from Waldorf University in 2017, receiving highest honours (Suma Cum Laude) for his degree. He currently works for the largest oil and gas company in the world, Saudi Aramco. He is the SNR Construction Specialist, a Safety Advisor and holds over 23 years experience in the field. His duties include running multiple sites on safety, health and the environment. He also deals with contractors, sub contractors, meetings and a lot of running around from day to day. One of Gareth's main responsibilities is making sure the company is in line with international standards.
In addition to Saudi Aramco, he also has his own business in South Africa for health, safety, environment and quality. His greatest professional accomplishment as a safety advisor is not having a major incident in 23 years of service. Gareth has studied all over the world and hopes to take advantage of all of the benefits that come along with being a member of the International Alumni Association. He looks forward to networking and collaborating with other professionals. He strongly believes that knowledge is power, and that the more you can teach and the more you can learn. He says this is a step forward for all humanity. He lives by his alma mater, Waldorf University’s motto: Lux et Veritas - Light and Truth.
In his spare time he enjoys playing darts and practicing karate. He is a member of I.O.S.H, F.E.M.A., the American Society of Safety Engineers and is a Certified Safety Manager with the World Safety Organization. He resides in Saudi Arabia.
