Dr. Horacio González Duhart is the LatAm Head of Data Science Kantar Insights, a global leader in market research, data, and insight consulting for brands. With over 10 years of experience in data analysis and quantitative research, he is a seasoned expert in assessing the necessary actions to improve client performance and efficiency, optimizing ROI and helping companies to achieve their goals. He is able to use his broad background in market research to steer the department, and offers not just the highly technical mathematic skills for analysis and illustration, but also the communication skills and business acumen to translate minutely details quantitative information into clear, implementable steps and strategy.
After earning two degrees in Actuarial Sciences and Applied Mathematics from the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (ITAM), Horacio relocated to the United Kingdom. There, he completed a Master of Science in Modern Applications of Mathematics and a Doctor of Philosophy in Mathematics from the University of Bath. In addition to his role at Kantar Insights, Horacio is a part time lecturer at ITAM.
Horacio resides in Mexico City, Mexico, and speaks fluent English and Spanish. He credits his success to perseverance and dedication. Outside of his professional endeavors, he enjoys football, basketball and badminton. He is also an avid reader.
