Laurence Levesque-Combes is Product Manager of Customs Solutions at CHAMP Cargosystems, the leading provider of integrated air cargo systems. With over 25 years of experience in the airline industry, she is a highly skilled IT technician and is in charge of Traxon Global Customs application, an innovative new app that facilitates pre-arrival customs reporting for a full range of customers, airlines, Ground handling agents and Forwarders. Intended to navigate the politics of paperwork, customs, and security, the app helps ensure that clients have all paperwork completed before landing, minimizing red tape and improving efficiency for passengers and ground personnel.
With dual Bachelor of Economics degrees from Lyon University and Bordeaux University, Laurence launched her career in IT tech, where she excelled in business analysis, software project management, and business processes. She then went on to earn a master’s degree in Marketing and International Affairs from St. Xavier University (Chicago), and in Economics and Air Transportation from University of Aix en Provence. She joined Cargolux Airlines in 1998, which later launched Champ Cargo Systems.
In addition to her lifetime membership in the IAA, Laurence is closely following World Customs Organization activities and initiatives. She resides in Roussy-le-Village, France, and speaks both English and French. Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys deep sea and scuba diving, as well as dance and the opera.
