Rev. Dr. Leif Jacobsen is a renowned minister, theologian, and author based in Norway. With almost 50 years of church leadership experience and devoted study to the Bible and the Word, he currently serves as Pastor for the United Methodist Church in Norway. Leif oversees the Church planting and Church renewal program in the UMC, and serves as a mentor for younger pastors and Church leaders.
A seasoned business executive in addition to his work in UMC, Leif earned a MA in Information Science at the University of Bergen, Norway, and gained a great deal of expertise in Project Management and Enterprise Architecture. He attended Regent University, where he received a Doctor of Ministry in Management and Organizational Development, and attended the Methodist Theological Seminary for his study of theology and ministry.
As an author, Leif has published three books on leadership and administration. He finds the integration of his many years of ICT management and program/project management offer him a unique expertise when training younger church leaders. Currently, he is developing an outreach program in Vietnam, working with Bible schools training tribal leaders.
