Bestselling author and motivational speaker Sergio Bambarén wants you to follow your dream. Known as the “poet of the soul,” he gave up a life working for various multimillion-dollar corporations to find fulfillment in his life. An avid surfer, he decided to search for the perfect wave, and became inspired to write his first book after having a singular encounter with a friendly dolphin while on a beach in Portugal.

Now a prolific writer, Sergio has published more than 20 works and his writing has been translated into over 40 languages across over 70 countries. Among his most notable works are The Dolphin, Story of a Dreamer; Distant Winds; The Guardian of the Light;Thoughts by the Ocean; Tales from Heavens; Nightingale Story; and others.

Today, Sergio travels the globe to give speaking engagement and connect with his fans, and is currently looking forward to the worldwide debut of the sequel to The Dolphin, Story of a Dreamer,set to release in 2020. A passionate advocate for wildlife and environmental causes, Sergio will donate all proceeds from the film to various philanthropic organizations around the world.

Sergio holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He is originally from Lima, Peru, but has lived and traveled all over the world, including Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Bali, Morocco, Hawaii, Mexico, and California.

Sergio continues to ride the waves and to dream, and dares others to do the same in their own lives.
