Nashwa Rawahi earned her master's degree in 1987 from the University of Sheffield in the United Kingdom. Currently, she is a Palynologist and Geochemist for Petroleum Development Oman.

In her role, Nashwa oversees oil distribution, rock drilling, and oil transfers. She entered into the field because of her desire to make a difference, and is proud to have worked on advanced breakthroughs in the geochemical industry. Nashwa credits her success to hard work and determination. She has the unique distinction of being the company’s only local employee in the Geochemistry division.

In her spare time she enjoys tennis, gardening, and practicing yoga. She looks forward to all benefits of membership in the IAA. She resides in Oman.
