Ms. Shabana Aziz-Rajan graduated with an International Master's degree in Business Development & Innovation (Distinction) in 2015 from the Arthur Lok Jack Graduate School of Business in Trinidad and Tobago. She also holds a Bachelor’s degree (Hon) in Industrial Engineering and a Masters in Production Engineering & Management from the University of the West Indies. She has earned certifications as a Quality Manager and Six Sigma Black Belt with the American Society of Quality and Risk Management with the Institute of Internal Auditors.
She has over 20 years combined experience in Engineering, Quality and Internal Auditing across Manufacturing, Research and Oil and Gas Industries.
She holds the position of Senior Auditor with the National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago, a role she has earned over many years with the company. She is responsible for providing assurance and consultancy services to Management and the Board of Directors on the Governance , Risk Management and Internal Control of the company.
A dedicated professional, Shabana continues to look for growth opportunities within the company as it expand its operations globally.
Shabana is also seeking partnerships in launching a Business Development Company that deals with technologies outside Oil and Gas for the Caribbean , Latin America and Canada.
Her success comes from pure perseverance and always having the drive for continuous learning and development. She remains active in many associations and societies such the Institute of Internal Auditors, Trinidad and Tobago Chapter. as facilitator for training programs and the American Society for Quality. She also attends conferences regularly, something she has been dedicated to for about ten years.
Shabana is interested in networking with other professionals on a global scale. Some of her hobbies include cooking, traveling, sports, walking and yoga. She hopes to take advantage of all of the benefits that come along with being a member of the International Alumni Association.
Shabana has dual citizenship for both beautiful Trinidad and Tobago where she currently resides and Canada always her second home.
