Daniele Romiti is winding down from a highly successful 35-year tenure in his career. As Helicopter Managing Director of Leonardo Group at Leonardo Helicopter Division, his skillset includes but is not limited to design, production, operations, supply chain, procurement and leadership. Very well known for streamlining and creating synergy within teams to create dynamic results, he was recently recognized for engineering a new electrical drive tail rotor for a helicopter. His vision for the near future is to explore other industries to share his knowledge and expertise.

He holds a doctorate in Aerospace Engineering, from Polytechnic University of Turin, and is a former Board Member of The American Helicopter Society, the ASD, and the EASA Steering Group. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, hiking in the mountains, tennis, cycling, and golf. He resides in Sesto Calende, Italy.
